yes, they are the boge turbo gas inserts...i wound up using konis when i completely redid the car.

the WRX has gone 12.48 @ 107 mph spinning the stock clutch time for a clutch and more dyno time to pull out the last few HP i have hiding.

the 951 has gone 12.39 @ 118.... without really trying...the tranny isn't really made for drag racing, want to save it for Lime Rock and other tracks.

BTW your car is BEEAAUUUUTIFUL. i love those wheels. my car is blk/blk too. just got a set of old 930 BBS's (blk centers) for the track
(8's&9's).should look good i guess.

WOW... yeah running 118, it looks like a drag launch would have dropped your E.T. a pretty good amount!

Have you broken and half-shafts launching the subie?? I'd be kinda scared to launch a 317whp AWD car in fear of braking half shafts, a transfer case, tranny.... yada yada yada

Weltmeister claims the 250lb springs lower the front 1.5"... would they require stiffer bars in the back to equalize the handling again, or would the stock ones just have to be adjusted to compensate for the ride height change?

haha Kevin...

1) Worked my butt off in school to get the respect of my benevolent parents
2) Been working almost every chance I can @ Smoothie King lol, gotta start somewhere eh? And recently got a lot of money from b-day, Christmas, and Chinese New Year
3) Dad went through midlife crisis haha, bought himself that beauty

Hey and I'm 17 now

Yeah, dad lets me drive the M3 every once in a while, its nice to have power everywhere for a change, instead of waiting till >3000 RPM, fun car

But yeah I do consider myself lucky

I think stock springs are about 160#, M030 (surprisingly) are only about 180#. My S2 is dropped about 1" w/ the ride height adjust. M030, and the rear is still stock (the A arms are approximately horizontal I think). It handles very-very good (in fact it is one probably by far the winningest car in my stock auto-x group over the last 4 years). The rear of mine is lowered as far as stock parts allow.
