Spring is in the air and having a glass top is awesome. Wait, you will be so happy to have one, I speak from experience.

Just an update as we go into April - the manufacturer is finishing up the production run and should start to deliver to the distributor soon. As of this morning, there is not a set ETA but things are progressing. I'm working with the distributor to figure out the easiest way to fulfill all these order requests - either with a group buy we me coordinating (and hopefully a lower price for everyone) or just to order direct from them like we initially had planned. I will continue to update as information is given to me.

Now Pilk is using a distributor? That was not how I set this up years ago. I guess Pilk wants the money with security and someone else is willing to assume the risk.

Also interested in getting in on the group buy if it’s possible.

Im assuming you can still partially open a Saratoga too correct? Lifting the hatch with the motor 2” is a must for me.

Yes works the same, only it is so much nicer in the interior with the top.

I must admit, I'm underwhelmed with the customer service and response at this point. There have been a lot of shoulder shrugs as to how this is going to go, or if it actually will be.

I was contacted by PM by someone in the know that said there might be issues getting any of these tops fully produced. I'm thinking of finding alternative options. I'm in a holding pattern and am not sure what to tell you all as of today.

There are no options. They own the die and it is very expensive to make one. Push them do not let go.

Did anyone here get sent one of the update kits to secure them better? Can they post a picture so I could make one? I have a sunroof from the last batch by pilkington when there were all the issues with whistling, lifting, etc. I emailed about the update kit at the time and they were going to send them to the affected people when made - there were delays. I never got one so removed the top on the weekend, was getting pretty noisy over 120kmh, was worried it might lift.

Ps not a negative on these roofs, just an issue to be sorted

Sam thank you very much. That is a huge help, doesn't look like it would be too hard to source something close locally oe even turn down urethane if necessary. Any measurements you get time for would be great, would make the top safe to use again.

I'm also interested in buying a Saratoga top. Thanks for all the leg work on this. Cheers
