Thumbs up Want to try Motronic Monitor?

The Motronic Monitor is a reality. We are looking for few 951 owners to try it out and give us feedback. At the moment we are looking for few users in the Atlanta area.

The Monitor as well as future products require the use of Vitesse chips (which will be provided). At the moment we support K26, K27 and our turbos using MAF (Some AFM support as well). Various Injector sizes and MAF calibrations are supported... Preference will be given to MAF equipped cars as you will get to sample to new generation of MAF software..

The Monitor uses existing sensors and connects to the existing wiring harness. Additional sensors can be added (Intake Air Temp, Wideband O2 sensor..)

Please contact me directly with the mods to your car, and you must have a laptop if you want to Data Log or to view the data in live mode. Of course you don't need the laptop to run the car.

Check out the initial screen...

Thanks

Quick remark... The above picture shows "DME Temp" This will go away, and more than likely we will replace it with WideBand AFR.

VAF Air Temp: Is actual temp in front of turbo.
Inatke Temp: Allows you to add a Air temp sensor (In the intake manifold?)

John, care to elaborate on hookup/wiring and install; post a schematic? Looks great BTW.

Would there be a need to use this in conjunction with the SMT6 ?

So you're looking for free beta testers?

I'm not in Atlanta unfortunately, but I would love to test it for you. I wont have the car up and running again for about a month and a half though (full engine rebuild).

I'd be more than happy to work with you, but I'm in North Carolina... I could drive down for you though, if we can work something out.

Looks pretty sweet. What kind of pricing are you thinking at this point? Will allow logging?

Thanks,
Max

Thank you for the interest. The reason I'm hoping for a local install so I can do the wiring (we just tap into existing DME/KLR wires to pick up the signals).

The Monitor is a great tuning tool for it's extended data logging capabilities. For now the PiggyBack is needed to modify the data..

Ski, Adrial the packages went out...

Ahmet, thank you for the offer, for now I need someone local and so far i have few that signed up

I'll go ahead and respond to most questions, even the ones I received directly..

* Pricing has not been firmed up yet, however it'll be very affordable.
* Yes id does data log, which makes it more valuable.
* You must use Vitesse chips with it.
* It will use a USB connection.
* Yes we will support WideBand sensors, and we will simulate a NarrowBand sensor based on your wideband signal. Of course not all Wideband sensors can be supported as of yet.
* Connection can be by tapping into the wires. However, you can solder to pins on DME/KLR connectors. This will be very handy for shops that are trying to diagnose problems.. Pull DME/KLR out, install yours and see everything taking place.
* Soon, will make it available to people outside of the Atlanta area.
* Yes we are considering logging additional sensors... Any future upgrades will be backward compatible. So you will be able to integrate new features to what you already have... Too soon to address this now.

The system has been working for some time now. I just want to go the extra step and get more feedback.

Got to go test the latest MAF software... More goodies on the way!

And yes, I'll update the website soon!!!
