OK Turbo experts, I need your help!
Is the hot side inlet different on a K26 944 turbo compared to a K27-7200 Turbo form a 930.
The reasion I asked is I have ordered a Turbonetics 60-1 using a T3 hot side which bolts up to the header inlet ok but will require a funny T3 flange out to the muffler.
Thus, I guess another way to ask this is:
is a T3 hot side inlet the same size as a K26 turbine inlet?
I am using this on a 91 C2 Turbo that comes stock w a K27-7200.
Thanks in advance.
Keith

I can only speak for a K27 7200 turbo and yes the flange is different and is bigger. It will require you modifying your crossover to make it fit on a 951. You will also need to modify the downpipe as well.

Thank you.
So the 930 style turbine inlet flange (K27) is larger than the 944T flange (K26).
It is for a 930 so I will stay with the T3 flange which is reputed to be a bolt up to a K27 hot flange (your cross over flange).

That makes more sence.
The K27-7200 is for a 91-94 911 Turbo. Basicaly a 930.
Got my Turbnetics turbo to day but they sent me a standard bearing instead of a Ball Bearing turbo.
Crap, It took a week to get an order in as they no longer take direct orders and you have to find a dealer.
Then I was suposed to get it last week, now I get it an it is wrong.
Sorry for the vent and thanks for the Help.
