Still have not heard what makes it "extremely" fast, lart951 may be getting a deal here! Some guys spend more than that on an exhaust and turbo only!

JC,
thanks for being one of the only seemingly rational people in this thread. You are right, I don't have time to post all day, and I do use the search, which has been greatly informative.

Luis,

Thanks for the offer, you obviously understand what obo means, unlike nz951 who only sees 5k. I live in New Jersey.

The thing I need to clarify is that, for a 5k obo car, my description is accurate. The seats are in excellent condition, considering the car is 18 years old, and is all original. The pictures do not do them justice as it was a overcast day when I took them and it makes everything seem darker. But as I said the pictures are there to give an idea of what it is like. I am not asking anyone to buy it without looking at it, or driving it. The car obviously needs work, but that is why its priced as such. I have rarely seen a 951 go for under 4k, and the ones I have were much much worse then mine and are not turbo.

Lastly,
nz951, i guess you have no appreciation for the performance of a stock 951, you obviously need 315hp @ 1.0 bar (din corrected)
, for it to be extremely fast. What I mean by my statement is that, the 951 is still faster then 90% of the cars made today. This from a car that is 18 years old. To me that is an incredible level of performance, and as such I stated my PERSONAL OPINION! If you do not feel the stock 951 is fast, go have a pissing match between your car and DFASTEST951's, of course that won't work because your car isn't even close. Therefore you should continue to boost your ego by comparing it to stock ones. Yes I have had much faster cars, but to me the 951 is an extremely fast car.

I love when a good playground response is returned. Way to elevate the level of discourse. I learned how to handle this type of response from Al Franken.

NO! Your a DICK.

Don't ask me to respond, then when I give my honest reasons, you resort to childish name calling.

At this rate ill have enough posts to fit into nz951 posting club. So, jsonnen, if the 951 is not fast, what is? Also, with this being an enthusiast's forum, how could you bash the stock car you are here to appreciate

You mean resorting to childish name calling like "NO! Your a DICK"? I have what I would refer to as a moderate amount of posts. There are monay moer people on here that have thousands more. The point is, you refer to your car being extremely fast which is a matter of degress which must be accounted for in your audience. In this instance the references you make to your car are just plain lies.

>>>So, jsonnen, if the 951 is not fast, what is?<<<

It's stock. That's exactly what it is. Nothing more, nothing less.

And stock is certainly fast. But it's nowhere near extremely fast.

My 951 makes 400+HP to the wheels... and it's not extremely fast (which is probably close to double what a stock 951 makes).

Extremely fast is when you have a 3000lbs car making 600 - 700 - 800 HP. That's extremely fast.

Ride in a car that puts out 725+HP to the wheels and weights 3200lbs... and you'll know, and it will be crystal clear, what extremely fast is.

Thank you Tony.......1st944 no offense but your descripition of your car was marginal at best, it really isn't as nice as you think it is.So instead of me pointing out all of the weak parts of the car, I thought I would be humorous and stick with the "extremely fast" line. People on this board know their stuff and rarely appreciate the salespitch bs........just my 0.02 cents.

Also how am I bashing my car......mine is pretty fast with 280 rwhp , but not extremely, and I love 951's.....just not beat-up clunkers.
Good luck with the car.....

Mine is 315 and it needs at least another 100 before I would consider it just plain fast.

So Tony when you say things like "This car is seriously fast" and "This is a car that has an extremely high level of very expensive modifications", you should probably reword that because you are nowhere near your 600-700-800 hp levels. No an extremely high level of very expensive modifications would be DFASTEST951, who has invested over 100k. In fact there should be a post somewhere in the archives of what a person can or cant say about their car. You something like:
600-700-800hp- extremely fast
400-500 hp -nowhere near extremely fast
...
...
stock - slow

that would make it easier to post things without being criticized. As was said , what is extremely fast is subjective. I was merely stating that I thought the car was extremely fast for a stock vehicle, and I stand by that statement. 600-700-800 is not anywhere near extremly fast if you compare it to a f-15, and that is what everyone here is doing. I never stated that it was extremely fast compared to everyone's car on this forum, that would be ludicrous. And since there are no 951's putting out the hp you claim it takes to be extremely fast, that means there are no extremely fast 951's in existence. See I would consider your car extremely fast, but again that is my opinion, as was my statement about my car. Its ashame you don't have the same level of pride with your own car, instead you trumpet is as mediocre, while trying to sell it. That's not a good stance.

Oh and nz951, if you need another 100hp to consider your car plain fast, your selling it short. A 951 with 315 at the wheels should be faster then many high end exotics. If that is not fast, I guess all the magazines that review vipers, z06s, 360's, should talk to you before they make statements that they are fast cars.

The thing is most people respect Tony and are not idiots. His statements are given proper consideration because of that respect. People make their judgements based on their own values and world view, if Tony says it only makes 450hp as his goal is 600hp, someone is not going to say oh drat, I wanted a fast car but Tony said it only makes 450hp. Accordingly, Tony's stance is suitable given the environment in which it resides.

I look at my friends running EVO's running late 11's with not many mods and a bit of boost fast. They are fast, or at least feel fast.

Maybe the car magizines should look at aeroplanes for comparisons like you mention. Retard "cough", loser "sneeze". Also, maybe you should pedal your junk down to the wreckers where it belongs.

I'll give you $3500 via paypal for it, plus I'll pick it up by the end of the week. The car does need work, and I need atleast $2k to put into it. If you like the offer, give me a call at 9735732222. If not, than call me and tell me what you think. I'm in the process for buying a TII for the same exact price, but in great condition.

I think $3500 is fair since I have to fix the interior, exterior, and do the regular maintence.
