Luis

That is one very nice mustang. With the entire drivetrain out, what is the drag coefficient +/- .21. I bet it hauls on the highway.

I just wanted to throw this at everyone.
What do you think of this 951 and what the guy says about it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2456950802 notice his dyno charts. I at least took pictures of all the defects of my car, imagine if I posted a dyno chart from what looks like a 951 with abou 340rwhp and over 400 ft./lbs torque. Good thing he didnt try to sell it on this forum.

Sorry I didn't answer your question, after tony's glowing review, I figured that selling on the forum was a lost cause.

The car is located in northern nj
I do not have the original wheels
The previous owner said he replaced the clutch around 130k
I do not know the last time the timing belt was replaced or retensioned
He did not keep a record of his maintenances, but said that all were performed by a porsche mechanic in greensboro.

Dude, quit feeling sorry for yourself. You act like you are doing us a favor in trying to peddle your car (is it your car? the thing thing has not been registered in years) on this forum.
Plus .with all due respect, you have no clue about the car and advertising a POS/partscar/project as excellent had me rolling on my back.yeah Tony was right with his first post and he was nice and realistic about it.
I used to wrench for a living and most people, and that includes some posters and bidders on this forum do not know what they are getting in to with this sled

I think you are going to need a re-spray.
You guys are so perfectionist . All it needs is a good polish & wax.

Just wondering, are you reading the same thread as me? I don't see where I feel sorry for myself, nor do I see where I said I was doing anyone a favor. Your statment have no pertenance to this discussion, so go and enjoy your 952, and keep your meaningless comments to yourself.

I offered the guy some money, but he hasn't answered me back in the emails. He seems pissed off for some reason, but he should be happy because I offered him a nice amount, but he's not answering my emails.

I've seen crappier 951's go for more money. It does need a lot of cosmetic work, and the mechanical is unknown. If you look at the pics it needs new gaskets at the windows and door handles at a minimum, washer tank cap is gone just to name a few visible items. $4500 is not unreasonable if the car is mechanically sound I suppose, but the new owner needs to tally up all the costs for odds and ends ( lots of 'em), the bodywork and respray unless he tackles that himself, and immediate maintenance (belts etc.) The car would go from $4500 to 8-10K quickly. I bought mine for $4500 and it needs a respray due to some rock chips on the nose and blemishes under the clear coat that all metallics develop with age. My interior is much, much better and I had half the mileage. I felt like I got a bargain, but these cars are pretty old. I've developed a PS rack leak in the 2 years I've had it, and today I noticed a squeaking coming from the clutch area, so I figure my throwout bearing is getting on the downside of life expectancy. I still feel like I got a bargain. If the car is mechanically sound it's probably not such a bad deal, but there is no way to get the car back to "very good" condition without at least 3-4K $$, providing you painted it yourself. Good luck selling it, if someone has the time,$$, and patience, it can come back to greatness.

actually, i DID say something about that ebay listing... to ebay, not on here:
the dyno chart posted for this vehicle was stolen from a web site, it is NOT the correct chart for that car. a stock 951 is approx 215 crank hp, which is about 180-200 to the wheels, not over 300hp. potential buyers are being misled by this false chart.
