65mm Throttle Body
I finally broke down and got a CNC Aluminum 65mm throttle body that lines up with the factory intake and bolt pattern. Throttle cam and TPS fit right on, although you'll need to make up a little mounting plate out of sheet metal for the TPS. There is no idle circuit, but instead an idle stop screw that is intended to let you crack the plate as much as needed. Time will tell how well that works. Overall, it looks very promising and well built. Will need to hog out the opening at the front of the intake, in lieu of using the big spacer that comes with the tb. I opted for the fancy one because it looked like the best fit, but there are similar ones for half the price. I figured for $62 it was worth taking a flyer on, and so far so good! What do you think?

Bolts right up, with tps and throttle cam in the right places.
Throttle cam uses same system as factory throttle cable, thought it may 10mm further out (toward the fender) compared to stock.
TPS shaft is virtually the same as stock. The mounting ears on the TPS stick out beyond the mounting holes on the TB, so will need to make a little plate to bolt it to.
The mouth of the intake will need to be port matched, both for flow but also so the throttle plate doesn't touch it when it opens. It just skims the intake without a gasket, so that's probably a non-issue with gasket installed.

Another interesting adapted product Tom has brought to our attention, I know you have tried several different TB over the years, let us know what you think

Good call. It will probably take some grinding on the TB for big turbos, but it doesn't have the idle return spring bracket underneath, and there is ample extra aluminum under there -- so hopefully that won't be a real issue.

I haven't actually tried the TB on the car yet, so will have to mull that over. The TB definitely doesn't have a port for the evap, so it'll have to get in some other way...
