Those carbon fiber doors are hot! Is this a shop that will be selling them? I imagine the first pair of doors is really expensive, but after the molds and method are sorted out they might be reasonable...?

On the subject of unibody, it's a relatively painless process to fully weld up areas that are just spot welded such as the sills or the rear inner fender (wheel well seams). I suspect it'll pay off in a collision. The seems might be the weak link in the chain. I thank T for his revealing photos that inspired me to throw some beads on the spot welds.

Justin
It is Kyle Schiemann[kmschiemann@gmail.com]
He has been building CF pieces for both myself and Jim Stevens.
He has the doors, wide body front and rear fenders, front nose, roof skin, hood, splitter and belly pans.
I believe he also has some variations of diffusors.

When I look at door bars, I think this - "red group, you have 3 minutes to grid.....red group, threeeeeeeee minutes"

Are you sure about these...?

"Hey T, ["you now have 1 minute to grid.....ooooooone minute"] can you close my door a little so I can reach it..?"

Bravo mate. Looks great... and an interesting take on the forward lower footwell extensions. What class racing?

I originally built it for 24 hrs of lemons, but I have been HPDE it since I feel it is a bit too nice for lemons. the forward brace will transfer the energy back to the frame rail.

fitment before welding
is everything

Update on my cage. The rollcage itself is all TIG Welded together. Took a few days, but i got there in the end. Now onto welding up the gussets.
I sprayed some gal silver paint on the welds ect as i saw some surface rust near some welds after a few days.

Here's a couple of photos. I'll get more photos once the gussets are done.
