haha. Well, here's the todo list :

Replace Front suspension bits / Coilovers
Replace Rear torsion bar and bushings
Replace existing block with 2.8L block
Remove turbo, rebuild
Replace Transmission with Rothmans 951 tranny.
Clean the mess of oil around the car

2.5 hours to drop the whole drivetrain by Marc all by himself, plus it looks way cooler than taking things off piece by piece . He's done this before many years ago, and decided to try it again except with pictures and video.

The video of lifting the entire body off the drivetrain looks pretty darn cool. I'll have to do some editing and post it tomorrow.

So much easier to wash the car this way hehe.

2.5 hrs?? I'm not impressed. I've heard of bodies coming off WAY quicker. Allthough they all involved high velocity collisions.

It's gonna understeer like hell with that positive camber!

Cool pics, but isn't there a risk of bending the torque tube doing that?

And the cv joints, and the ball joints, etc. It'll probably be alright though.

See its not that hard to get to those upper bolts on the torque tube to bell housing. Are you going to put the body on and off a couple of times to index the torsion bars ?
