Do you attribute the bogging to the light flywheel? Or at least contribute to it? Or does your car have trouble hauling your *** off the line? he he he

It's a combination of everything. Big turbo means no low end power, so anytime the tires grip, it'll bog. Lighten flywheel means less inertia when spinning at 5000rpm, so once it engages, the energy has a lot of mass (my fat ***) to move . When the energy stored in the spinning flywheel runs out, the revs drop, and it bogs.

yeah... read the frame count incorrectly... 6.60 but still happy.

Magazines got 9.3 and 9.4 seconds for the stock 951.

not bad kevin I can't wait to get my car back to test my 60-100 and 60-120 out.

I know it was said on here but, what is the fastest anyone with a k26 car has gotten from 60-120?

Lots of variables anyway - Wind / temp / gradient / weight in the boot / fuel tank / reaction time on the stop watch etc. etc.
I will have a go though, nice reference to see if power is down / up with mods or boost leaks.

I actually did it with a video camera from 50 and then timed it with video editing software to be as accurate as possible. The wind/temp/gradient/weight of course can't really be adjusted for without crazy equiptment, but mine was actually done slightly uphill so I figure my 6.60 is slower than what it could do best if anything

I noticed on the cold sharp day and an empty fuel tank = I was 0.3 secs quicker.

my last turbo S making 320rwhp would do 4 seconds on the nose 60-100 unspooled. Spooled it would do 3.7s.

Probably did this test 40-50x

I hope those runs were done with a driftbox or similar on level ground ....if done by stopwatch or timed videoclips I have to go XXX lol.

How are you measuring this? to get 3.7 seconds with a stock turbo with 320 rwhp is very unbelievable.

did you look at the speedo? or use the tacho, 3970 and 6620 rpm in 3rd gear.
did you use a data logger or a stopwatch?

a 1994 McLaren F1 does it in 4.1 seconds that weighs 2500lbs and has a 600 HP v12. that's lighter then a 951 and more powerful then 320 rwhp.

I'm not flaming but that time is very hard to believe, and that info is proof that it's hard to believe, sorry.
