I did 5.9 seconds. This was done from a cruising start (not WOT) and with the second half of the run slightly uphill. I'm running Guru MAP (13 psi at redline) with the rest of the car 100% stock.

We need to get someone with a stock car to do this so we have a starting point. My car - 6.5 sec. Running superchips only. Anyone? You only need a stop watch - easy test...

Rage and mark - I just read this after the 0-100 thread...
Something strange...?
Mark's 0-100 is like 8.7
Rage's is I think 9.1
How can he be that much faster 60-100? Do your tires stink that bad(rage)?

Thats the bad thing about these cars , you really need a set of slicks to get any kind of traction , but who wants to chance braking something when you hook up with that kind of sticky tire. I'm running on 6 year old BFG t/a's so I don't get alot of traction , but I still go pretty fast.
My times are with my G-tech pro comp.

Also , I used the G-tech's stored runs to calculate my 60-100mph run .
I took my 12.26 @121 mph run and took my 0-60 time (4.175) and subtracted it from my 0-100mph run (8.713) to get my 60-100 time of 4.538

OK Mark answered my question from the other thread .
I actually used a G-Tech Pro Comp on my car to compare as well. At the track I was doing 12.7@117mph, on the G-Tech Pro I was doing 11.6@130mph. 0-60 was 4s flat. In real life, I rarely see a 0-60 time of under 5.5s on my car. The problem was the rear dives a lot which messes up the readings, especially in the lower gears. On my AMG it was much more accurate, suspension is stiffer in that car, less rear dive. This problem plagues both the G-Tech Pro and the G-Tech Pro Competition. I actually lost a $100 bet with my 944 at the drag strip because of the G-Tech Pro. I was confident of making 120mph trap speeds, which never happened.
As for how I did my 0-60, 0-100, 60-100 time, I took an in car video of the speedometer during my drag run and did a frame by frame to calculate 0-60, 0-100, then subtracted the 2 to get 60-100.
0-60: 5.33s
0-100: 9.13s
60-100: 3.8s
It may be off by a frame or 2, which is about 0.03s per frame, so my numbers should be within 0.1s of actual times.

A stock 951 takes ~9 seconds to do 60-100 mph (see http://www.weissach.net/924-944-968_...mmary.html#951 for accurately instrumented runs).
To get that sprint down to 4-5 seconds, you'd need to be making well north of 400 bhp.
Karl.
