slim_boy_fat, I took your informtion and put in on excel so that I can sort and read it and I have more questions.
There are 3 Porsche carrera's on the list one C4 at 7.0 the other C2 (I assume) at 5.5 and 5.9.
There are two turbos, one at 5.5 and one at 7.0. Can you provide the year/model that were involved in the tests. I went to the car website but could not get the answers.

Thanks
Levino

"A stock 951 takes ~9 seconds to do 60-100 mph"

I think those magazines standardize on top-gear for the 60-100mph tests...

How about posting numbers for 3rd, 4th & 5th gears?

The figures i posted were from a spreadsheet and they had another column for model year, but it was very messy to post it.

I would have posted the spreadsheet but there are only limited files you can upload on here. If you want i can email you the whole sheet, if it would be easier.

Autoweek tested the Carrera GT...

http://forums.beyond.ca/showthread.p...threadid=42648

0-60 MPH: 3.5 sec
0-100 KM/H (62.1 MPH): 3.63 sec
0-100 MPH: 7.06 sec
0-QUARTER-MILE: 11.35 sec @ 129.5 mph

That would mean a 3.56s 60-100mph time, putting it right in between the McLaren F1 (3.5s) and the Ferrari Enzo (3.6s)!

Ressurection time... 60-100 pull: 3rd gear only? I'm thinking of taping a 3rd gear pull from 40ish to a little past 100 and using a video editor to get the exact 60-100 time. Sound like a plan?

John, the fun **** is great.... Most definitely worth the time, money and effort. I'm also very satisfied with the better boost gauge! The "happy" controller is a wonderful thing.

I'll get back to you guys with results. I'm off to Williamsburg to go to the 356 Holiday and visit a couple Rennlisters/HWFM members and oogle over the classics.

It's a lightened flywheel. And if I remember right, those vids were 26psi, so around 440whp or so.

Somewhere in the mid 400's anyways heh.
