gotta prob my rear hatch leaks problem is that the top of my glass like closes to the sunroof has come apart from the glass i've fixed this 3 times already i would take it off clean it real good take all the rubber and stuff off and sand the area where the galls is supose to stick to the frame then applied the silicone and placed the glass and put clamps but then i was lookin the other day through e-bay and i noticed something called a rear hatch seal as far as i know theres only silicone holdin the glass and frame together i didn't know there was a seal so if anybody has any tips to fix this prob and if anybody knows bout this rear hatch seal i'll appreciate it

The rear hatch goes eventually... usual fix is to dismantle it, straighten the aluminum frame and then glue it to the glass with some silicone.

There are several write-ups on the subject, see for example <a href="http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/944_hatch_glass_repair/944_hatch_glass_repair2.htm" target="_blank">http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/944_hatch_glass_repair/944_hatch_glass_repair2.htm</a>

Hope this helps!! <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" />

The "rear hatch seal" is the seal that goes on the chassis, below the hatch. No seals are available for the hatch itself.

I'm afraid you must either continue plugging away at the leaks with silicone sealant, or change out the hatch completely with a used unit from a dismantler.

As for the cracked dash, I used a Coverlay "dash cap" on my 83 and am quite pleased with it.

You need a 951 for flames, removing the cat-pipe helps.
Ya gotta admit, that 3rd to 4th shift w/ the flame lick out the back is pretty cool... no matter your age.

Go to this site and scroll down to rear hatch clinic. They have a kit with what you need to fix the rear hatch.

You need a turbo to get the flames the right way.
