The 2 week 944 project.
So just a little back ground and to make a long story short. I bought one 944 an 85/1 bout 3 years ago. Started working on it had to move it to storage for a few years finally got it out last year and started work again. Was also collecting parts over the years.
Just recently (bout 3 months ago) I bought another one an 84. That was all driving. So I've just been driving that one and trying to figure out which I would build this winter.
So just the other day my friend and I decided we wanted to go to Wolfsgart. So we each have ourselves 2 weeks to each build a car and go. So now I have started doing the red car. I have all new front end/suspension with rebuilt struts and lowering springs on the gray car to swap to the red car.
I also have a set of real Borbet Tyoe A's and a seat of Bride seats for it.
All out and ready to go in red car.
Also got some 924 gauges because I didn't like the yellow ones.

Am I right in noticing that you are using zip ties to hold up the side carpets to the rails? I finally resorted to that solution because the holes for the carpet attachments to the plastic trim plugs were too frayed to hold. It actually works pretty well!

Throw in a radio quick for the 2.5hr drive.
I need to mount my bride seats somehow. Don't wanna spend the $280 for this plate. Thinking I can just make one. Any ideas would be great. The seats have sliders on them already btw.

Is there any other reason besides the alternator that I would be running at 12.3 volts. The alternator is new as of a few weeks ago and worked fine then.
Have all the rear brake parts but waiting till after the show to do them. Also I think I want to lower the rear a little to match the front. So for now I just put my wheels on the rear.
Also so can some one confirm this lug nuts are fine? I've had a tire fall off back in the day from a shop not tightening them. So I'm always a little concerned haha.

So I deleted quite a few wires today. Someone had a lot of them ended in the hatch like they had amps and subs or something. Also unhooked some wire with a fuse off the battery that didn't look important and now back to running at 14volts.
Finally got the rusted passenger seat to move and then out. Glued the carpet back on in a few places and cleaned up. Now to make something for the
Brides to attach. And do the same on the driver side.

Well... after the seats all i had todo was test drive it and get aligned. Car ran great the day I parked it and took the front end out. But now it runs really rough, has no power (not that it ever did, but you know what I mean) running rich, fuel smell, back fire. So I will not be taking it this Saturday to Wolfsgart.. Atleast it will be painted next year haha.

Working on replacing my sunroof seals. Problem I have now is going to reinstall the sunroof. Only one arm retracts all the way in the drivers side arm will not go all the way in the headliner to put the roof back in?
