Is Pano editor Rob Sass going to be at PVGP? This is no doubt worthy of a Pano article.... or even Excellence.
George - I tried to raise some interest in this and #6 with a local guy, Rich Chenet, who is a staff photographer for Pano and 000, and Excellence too I believe, and could not get interest from him to run with it back to Pete Stout, or the other folks at Pano and Excellence. If anyone knows the editors, feel free to reach out. These magazines should be there for these cars, or at least capture #1 somewhere, even if at Droo's home.

Hey Ed,
The car looks great, and I even like it in the primer white. Adds another twist to the story. I've been watching your project, on and off, with keen interest. Would definitely be interested in 000 doing a major feature, with a couple of caveats—the car being finished (probably) being the biggie. If you care to PM me, we can take it from there.
Have you considered doing something like a Kickstarter for the car or seeking sponsors to get the car back to how it was on day 1? I certainly wouldn't mind pitching in to see #1 restored.

I appreciate your enthusiasm for the future of this car! Determining the best path/ balance of restoration and preservation is the current challenge. Outside funding/ sponsors /investors are not required.

Best,

Thanks Pete. It's Drooman's car. However, maybe give Rich Chenet a call and ask him to swing by for some candid shots? Something for later use? This will be the first time #1 and #6 are together since 77. There's a good story here.
If Hemmings sports and Exotics had not collapsed, they would surely have come for this. Those guys loved the PVGP and the historical cars that were brought in.
