Andrew, fantastic!!!
I remember #1 sitting at your home before it was brought back to its current glory, and you have truely done the 928 community a huge plus in bringing the 928 to everyone’s attention!
👍👍👍

I'm just a stop along the way for this car. The journey would not have gone this direction without the awesome insanity and commitment of others!

Thrilled for you and all long time enthusiasts for the prominent and public display of this important 928.
Been said before but bears repeating to give the context of what Andrew has provided this exhibit:
#1 represents the culmination of more than a 6 year effort, from the vision Tony Lapine began to formulate back in his days at GM design, and the ultimate expression of engineering and design excellence executed in a way unlikely ever to be repeated.
Wow, and congrats!

Weird stuff...If you've ever been to the experience center you know it is pretty big, with lots of levels, lots of glass, and lots of angles. I walked up to Ray while he was busy setting Brumos cars into position, stood next to him and reached out for this selfie...one take, in about 10 seconds time (he was BUSY) We're a floor up and a good 20 feet away from those windows behind us. Outside, to the right, you can see a row of ground level windows on an angle across the courtyard, reflecting #1 still parked in the courtyard but out of direct sight from the room we're in. Unlike a lot of my photos this was not intentional! GT R pointed this out to me hours later when we were reviewing hundreds of pics from the day.

On the way out, a familiar figure lurks in the parking lot..

Hey that was me! I was there visiting my buddy. I live about 30 miles south of PCNA.

Oh and I leaned over the rope to take a picture of #1’s VIN number and the security guard yelled at me.
