Thanks for the comments. If I can do it, anyone can....I didn’t realize that my car had a vinyl dash and didn’t come with defrost vent covers, so I didn’t pay any attention to details probably the only thing I would have done different besides another sanding with 600 grit. Just put the final paint coat, and it is fantastic!

Hmmm, maybe, but I don’t think I will have her put together by then....I am trying tho...I was furloughed a bit, which gave me some time, but didn’t give me quite enough....after the pod, I have some electrical work to do in the cab, then begin reassembly. I found a chewed through harness near the headlight motor that needs some repair, no lights work, but the headlights do go up and down.....don’t know if she will be road worthy....
The white 82 should be ok for another DC run...has a bad vibration around 70 and up, but hasn’t flown apart yet....soooo

Cross posting from the cracked dash thread for historical reference...
Got the Pod all sanded and cleaned with mineral spirits. Once dry I will work on getting the first coat of bondo glass on.

Having some tough times at work, and worrying and stressing way too much (I have suffered from depression before, fyi) I felt that some bondo fumes and 928 therapy was in order, so started the pod. Was only going to fill the cracks tonight, but decided to just go ahead and coat the entire top, as originally planned, feathering it over to the sides. Now I can start sanding tomorrow night, Might be able to skim coat on Saturday...

Well, you can tell by the colors I'm still not too good at mixing the stuff, brown= too much hardener, green = almost right. Brown gets hard super fast, green gives you a few minutes to work it. It is all hard as a rock in about 15 mins
