I think Chucks on Ebay is the nicest one around and its under priced
those purple carpets do nothing for me, I would yank them and put in linen

I've got linen carpeting in my 89. Linen is a pain in the *** to keep clean! My 87 had black, and I liked it much better.

I love the color combination. If this were an S4 with mileage putting it in my price range I've be all over it.

Looks unmolested. Original radio/cd player, wheels, etc. Strong money tho...

That was William A's GTS, a gorgeous car. This was Concours on the Avenue in Carmel in 2015, with the (then) new owner:

I'm in the opposite camp. The magenta carpets are the only redeeming feature color-wise IMO (not a fan of silver). Definitely a very nice car... I'd say it's the nicest on the market right now. Also has a great history of being very well maintained.

I agree, the carpets are what make this car extra special. Keep it as is.

Car is probably worth a few $$$ more by just being featured in a Porsche commercial.

I bought an etching in 1982 because I liked it; I also thought it would appreciate because it had been featured on the cover of some art magazine. It's a good thing I like it because it has dropped by about 90%.

For me, if this car has a pedigree, it is in the upkeep, or the fact that it is pristine, not the "as-seen-on-TV" aspect. .02 cents.

Don't think Porsche would pick a beater for a multimillion dollar advertising campaign..
