Where does the white hose attach?
Hi everyone,
Finally had time today to remove the center console (Thanks to prior posts on how to do that job).
I now have another issue I did not foresee.
The attached picture is the underside of the console. My question ,where does the white hose attach to? It appears it was routed to the left side of the dash area but I am unable to see where it terminated.
Thanks in advance.
P.S. Sorry the picture is on it's side.

That is an early vacuum operated head unit - it really helps if you post the year of your car or add it to the signature. Sorry I see you did that already 1981.
You need the early HVAC vacuum diagram to sort out the orientation of the various vacuum lines.

When I did my Spyder build on my '79, I created a reference manual for the secondary fuse box I added as well as other important things I might need to reference at a future time, one of which was the HVAC line connections. If you find the section in the attached Word document that pertains to the HVAC, then orient the control panel so the 2 ports are on top and 3 ports at the bottom, then follow my numbering scheme and sequential description to the right, it might help you.
From my description, it looks like #s 10 & 12 are connected by a Y-fitting and the base of the Y is where that long white hose should connect.
Good luck.
