Default Mercedes brass injectors for 928.

I have a 1983 928S - Euro Model and a new set of brass injectors (K Jet) for a 1979 Mercedes 450SLC.
I have heard that (although they are shorter) they will work on the 928. Any ideas ? I dont have part nos. but can get them.

I am using them without issue. A lot of members have. Only downside is removing them after installing. The brass is soft and will round inside the holders easier than the original

Thanks for speedy reply ! I joined Rennlist this afternoon by accident ! The injectors were ridiculously cheap from Benz dealer - equivalent to about $16 each a year ago. Am hoping to get started with the project soon.Porkensioner kit lying in garage 6 months already.....

They are NLA and when you can find them they are ~$200 each. I would look for good used from Mark A.

KDC928s: these are the ones you want. Pretty cheap considering it is only ~$23 each.

I bought the remanufactured GB injectors on Rock Auto site for my 78. They have worked great. $9 core charge plus $25.

Thanks for the reply ! The 2 positive answers mean that I will quite confidently install my Merc injectors.
They are of course the mechanical K Jet type. You guys have been very helpful to a newcomer ! I live in South Africa and my steering wheel is on the right side of the car.

Thank you for the info. I already have the injectors and will check against the part nos. you gave me. I am fairly sure I have the right stuff. Will take some snaps of 928S and post them (when I figure out how !)
I learnt a bit about K Jet working on a Merc 450. I really got a shock the first time I lifted the aircleaner to see a big steel and brass spider sitting where the carb. should be.
