I tried for sure but there was absolutely no way I could get it out in one piece, Rob.

Hopefully the new one will go in without too much trouble…..

Here's a shot of all the sill hardware from one side of an '89:

yup..i bought two new ones. one was split a little to begin with then once you start to slide it and it sticks, its all over with. I then just yanked it and said FK it, picked and slid the rest out of the channel with a dental pick and pliers.
