Not my pic but that is just and awesome color on that 930. I would love to have that color on an 84 euro 928. Any idea what it might be? I was wondering if it was a burgundy metallic? I believe that color was available as an exclusive order.

If period porsche correct I'm thinking winerot, but it pops a lot in that field of cars.. could be a modern color creation.

 

Maybe ruby red metallic but looks like a modern candy apple red to me.

 

It looks like Arena Red, my fav color for 993.

 

I agree. Saw a 993 last summer in this color. I have no idea if its a period correct color for a 930 but that doesn’t mean that one wasn’t repainted. But also it doesn’t
mean its actually Arean Red either.

 

I don’t think it’s Arena Red. I own a 996 in that color and it turns to a deep maroon without direct sunlight. That pic doesn’t seem to show much direct sunlight and yet the car still shows a lot of red instead of maroon. Of course it’s hard to tell what the true lighting conditions were when the pic was taken.
