If your gears have just started to wear through the coating and you just see a hint of metal showing through you might be able to re-coat them. The edges of the gear teeth still have to be straight, and you can check this by holding a straight edge up to them. I got mine re-coated by a place out in Erin called Fireball Coatings for around $100 if I recall correctly.

No, we do not. It was one of those things that made sense at the time because they were NLA from Porsche. Then Roger started making them, and new ones became available direct from Porsche too.
We figured the available market for this part was too small to support three suppliers, so we dropped it.

what do you think about these ones , $ 250.00 each or porsche OEM for $539.00
CDN each .The only problem is one is 928 105 530 01 (the better looking one with correct part number) and other 928 105 530 00 with a bit of wear .Are they interchangeable ? I think they were superseded by 928 105 530 04

Those could be re-coated, however you will need to add in the cost and Time of getting that done and hopefully they do a good and correct DL coating job.
Or.. call 928sRUs (Roger), last time ~ a month ago, I bought them his price was better than what you listed for New OEM.

Totally depends on how long you want to drive the car and what your intentions are.
If you are going o drive it another 75,000 miles, buy new ones, from Porsche (or Roger.)
If you are going to drive it for another 50,000 miles, buy a set of gear that are barely showing the aluminum through the coating (like the ones offered, above) and have them re-coated.
I've got boxes full of those....$150.00 each
If you are going to drive it for another 30,000 miles, find a good used set that still have good coating. (Rare to find.)
I've got a really nice used set that have no signs of the aluminum coming through....$200 each.

When I had them in my hands, the new ones looked like they are not cast but machined from a solid piece of aluminum and the coating seems to be a different material than before. Perhaps they are more durable than before.

The new gears were re-designed by Porsche about three years ago to overcome the wear issues on the older "softer" gears with the spray on wear coating.
The new gears are made of a much harder alloy and are hard anodized. If the belt is maintained correctly then I doubt these gears will wear out for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG time.
The oil pump gear is now steel (has been for a few years now) so again less chance of wear.
