The power steering pressure line has a bit too much pressure for most regular rubber lined braided hose to work. Dextron (with a flash point of 300 degrees) spraying all over the top and side of these engines is exactly like gasoline.

Hey Greg,
Appreciate that. I asked the guy that's doing it, and he is using proper hydraulic pressure hose. The guy that owns the shop used to own 928's and did the hoses for his own cars so I reckon I should be right. He owns an Aston now and said it's the closest thing to his old 928GTS in terms of feel and comfort.
