I ordered a nardi hub adaptor for my Nardi Classic wheel to my 81 928. First, I was expecting a hub with the rubberized sleeve as pictured in the posting but instead got an all billet aluminum one. Second and more importantly, there are two tabs at the rear of the adaptor that seem to serve no purpose for my 928 and actually impede it from mounting properly. See attached photo.

Answering all my own questions here. Lol. Seems they go on the inside of the column, inside the bearing perimeter. In what relation to the turn signal stalk should these be installed? The complete opposite corner?. On the original wheel these were broken off.

Do you have a link to where you purchased it and a better photo of the complete adapter?
The only part I do not like with hub adapters is the plastic accordion cover, this looks interesting. Does is still have some kind of crush safety built into it?
Back to your problem / question, there are hub adapters for the 911 with the same spline count which do not work on the 928. Maybe you have one of those??
