How much?
My 928 is worthless, seriously it has virtually no resale value as it has a huge 230k mileage, even though it is mechanically great, and cosmetically fine.
But I wouldn't accept any realistic offer for my car, I've owned it for nearly a third of my life. But I'm not a lunatic, eventually I't let it go if the offer were completely ridiculous.
But how much would it take for you to let your 928 go?

My car was a gift from my father..I've never been given cars or anything like that...so this was completely unexpected...I will just keep upgrading it and driving it like I stole it probably forever...

I have a real hard time parting with things that I really like. I think it's my collector mentality (disease). So for me to sell my 928, it would have to be because of some very unusual life circumstance OR I was offered way over what it is worth (probably $25K would do it)......It would kill me.......I then would have to search for another.

$100k for the Spyder. That's what it's insured for.

Honestly I'm tired of the 928, it's too old now and I've moved on to other adventures. I am therefore trying to sell mine for what it's worth, which is ?? hard to determine. The market for high milers seems to have gotten really soft lately.

Well-maintained high-milers are the norm these days. I have no doubt that mine, with a little over 100k on it now, will still be in great condition at twice that if it continues to get the care it sees now. I think the "high miles" designation is a moving target. Mine was "low miles" when I bought it, with less than 4k/yr added since new. It's still in that range, while the 'years' multiplier marches on. Less than 2k/yr the last couple, due to seasonal restrictions. How many of those does it have to enjoy before it gets to be seriously "low miles" again?
