Default Another Derek Bell 928?

I spent yesterday at the Porsche Experience center and got a chance to talk to Derek for a while. He was gracious enough to take a picture in my new 928.

I think I drove past that place. How did you get to go there?

Now if only you had got him to autograph the driver's door in indelible ink, who knows you might have doubled your investment!

He did mention about the possible uptick in value. I agreed to split half the upside with him. He was still licking his wounds after seeing what his CS sold for. He had sold it for $12k

Did he sell it to a British chap called Roger by any chance?

Wow! I'll bet. For those that don't know, his CS special sold for $281K at recent auction.

He sold the CS for £20-odd as the dealer was asking £24k in 2003... Not as bad as $12k, but still painful compared to what it achieved at the auction

Very cool Mark.

Perhaps next year for sharkfest we could do a group event on the 2nd day. Or maybe just go there for dinner...
