Default WTB decent used 928S3 spark plug wire set

Looking for a decent set of 1985-1986 928S 32v "S3" spark plug wires...hoping somebody's got good spares rather than buying a new set.

I agree with Randy's statement about scrimping but disagree with the delivery of it.

Yeah well, I've know Spence for years - that's how guys talk amongst their friends.

Sorry to upset your delicate sensibilities.

TBH the reason I'm looking for such a set is to test fitment...purely for cosmetic reasons.
This is for my 928S3 head on a 944 block.
The standard 944S/S2 wires run along the intake side of the head and cross over the Porsche lettering on the valve cover.

Since the 928S3 valve cover has the recesses/scallops for the plug wires I am hoping to run the wires along the exhaust side of the head and have the wires come up.

The 944 wires aren't long enough to do this and I know that the 928 wires are really long.

Not a good idea to run the wires on the exhaust side. The 928 runs them along the fuel rails.

Spencer, did you make a typo? Or did I not understand the question?

The S/S2 plug wires run along the exhaust side of the head.
I have a set of Beru S2 plug wires that you could borrow, if that would help.

See pic:

If this is just for a mock-up, I would think Mark Anderson has boxes of these lying around if he doesn't throw them away.

Paul - brainfart on my part...thanks for the photo/correction.
I've already got a set of 944S2 wires...thanks.

The picture helps illustrate what I want though - I want the "90 degree" part of the plug where where it comes out of the valve cover to be totally perpendicular to the valve cover (oriented top to bottom as seen in the photo)

So you want the plug wires to go from the top of the plug extension directly towards the intake manifold and then forward to the distributor? Right?

Since it is for mockup, could you use some tape and vacuum hose to get an idea of position and lengths?

No...
See in the photo below, the "scalloped" parts below the actual spark plug hole? This is a 928S3 valve cover.

I want where the plug wire goes into the "90" that then goes down to the spark plug to sit in that scallop, and need longer wires to do so.

Got it (I think)!

The wires go from the spark plug extension 90 towards the exhaust manifold and pass over/thru the scallop. The part of the extension 90 rests in the scallop. I can see where the 90 doesn't have anywhere to fit except in the scallop.

Correct?

How do you plan to collect and route the wires to the distributor?
I know they're just plug wires but curious why its important to you to route them this way?

Just aesthetics...have the scallops, want to use them...to make it look like "it belongs"
