Question Hot Wire spark plug wires

Has anyone bought and installed the Nology Hotwire plug wires? If so, what plugs have you used with them? Bosch 4 or the Silverstone's? Have you noticed any difference in engine performance? Do they interfere with radio frequencies? How do they compare to the OEM wires. I need to replace my wires and I was wondering if they were worth the $$.

i have nology's on one car, kingsborne on another and stock on a third. no real discernable difference to me. using silverstones. no intereference that i have seen. since they all pretty much cost the same i think any of them are fine./

If i was replacing I would consider MAGNECOR Competition plug wires.
They also have a nice writeup on NOLOGY's propoganda regarding wires in their FAQ section.

be sure they are red ....red always makes at least 10% more power than any other color . I especially like the "debate" over 7 mm , 8 mm , 10 mm wires ........all they are measuring is the diameter of the insulation ! which has nothing to do with how well the conductive center core (wire) will transmit power .

The only problem with the MAGNECOR wires are they currently don't make them for 928's. Too Bad, but there website has some interesting info.

I have the Kingsborne, it is okay, but the connectors on the dist. cap side are garbage.

I just upgraded my ignition coil to a Nology ProFire or some such name. Will know more once I finish all the fuel injection wiring I have been doing.

I forgot all about this. Red ones on the GT, but the crappy black ones on the track car.
Maybe the red numbers and roll cage are making up for the black wire.

-Something to think about is what happened to me recently. While my Belgian girlfriend was relaxing indoors [read: perusing real estate in Fort Lauderdale, where it appears I'm moving-] I pulled the Ford Aerostar out of the driveway and installed the 928. I decided that I needed to clean and gap my Bosch platinums- Let me tell you right now that this is an epic fight on my car! ALL the rubber ends of the NOLOGY wires are extremely tough to pull from the block, despite the fact that I used dielectric grease on them.

Well, she decided that we needed to go to Lake Eola park downtown, which is this place that she loves to feed her fingers to the squirrels, and I like to go running at. So I only had time to fight two plug wires: 1 and 2 cylinders. Both plugs came out with no problems, and had brown insulators with no deposits. I cleaned and gapped them anyway...

We took the minivan downtown. When I got back, I took the 928 to the grocery store to get an ingredient for dinner- whereas before I had had a TYPICAL high throttle miss that has bedeviled me for years.....this time the car was all about wheel spin. 330 hp in a 928 shell is tons of fun now and then, let me tell you-

It seems like the attention to the connection to those cylinders might solve my Rough Running problems....and maybe it wont. The miss came back quick...

I'm not convinced that NOLOGY wires do anything at all. But they sure look cool!

Not to burst anyone's bubble on the Nology wires, but I bought some about a year ago, they ran great out of the box for a few months, then during a spark plug change, the end caps that go on the spark plug came off, taking the wires inside apart. Made a call to Nology to and had 8 new end caps and rubber boots. So, if I were to do it over again, which I had to when i had my engine rebuilt, I'd stick with OEM and Bosch Platinums. For $300 spark plug wires, thats a down payment on some headers that you'll actually feel the gain.
But don't get me wrong they sure were cool looking!
