On the bright side it could have been a lot worse.
Had I not seen it coming out of the corner of my eye and quickly changed lanes (4-lane divided, no other traffic around) it would have for sure hit the fender, A-piller, windshield etc.....
The gas filler door doesn't close which means the quarter is tweaked worse than it looks but no noticeable creases.
In my rear-view I saw the deer up and about scampering off the road back into the woods.
Bummer glad no one got hurt Find a good PDR man and let him have a chance at the wave the guy that worked on my car took out something like what you have and its smooth as glass

Two paint chips will require a bit more work to be whole, but yea, overall not bad considering the size of the hoofed rat. The metal doesn't feel creased in any way which is good.
The filler door not closing properly does have me worried the metal is tweaked a bit more than it appears.
Yes, glad to hear you are well. It always could have been worse in retrospect. Up here I find deer a worse hazard then moose. Deer dart. Moose lumber along. This is true except for during the rut which is starting, then the bulls are aggressive and unpredictable.
Again, glad to hear you are well.
Well at least it was not a cow- that sure makes a mess of things especially when it knocks the poo out of them- it is quite unbelievable just how much is ejected, and worse how far it goes at the moment of impact!
Then of course my favourite and yours the camel. You knock the leg from under them and the rest of the thing comes through the windscreen - not a pretty site! I am sure you will be able to sort the damage out for minimal coin.
Glad to hear no one was hurt and it could've been alot worse without your noticing it in time to dodge and switch lanes on an empty road. Good luck with the fix. Love your red OB.
Yes, your luck and skill saved the day. I just sold my motorcycle - I could manage every risk, except deer. You'd think Darwin's theory would have dealt with this problem by now. Your only regret should be that the deer survived to strike again.
