I bought that set to try on the 928 but ended up using it on my leather dining room seats - worked very well. Don't think it will soften up the 928 leather though.

Haven't really tried anything else (had used Lexol before). Since using Leatherique, however, my driver's seat developed a split in the leather at about shoulder height on the left bolster - not an area the sees much (if any) wear. The lower bolster where it usually wears is still intact.
I am familiar with all of the "testimonials" from the antique car, RR and Jag folks about how Leatherique performs miracle rejuvenations, so I was very disappointed with Leatherique. It did more harm than good.

I've also been less than impressed with Leatherique. I've used it on both my cars with no real improvement in flexibility of the leather ... '82 quarters were really bad. Multiple treatments, plastic over the seats for days on end, and improvement was only marginal.
I found Gliptone conditioner to be better, It did soften a little, although still not the magic that's alluded to, but the leather smell that you get with it is brilliant.
I've got German Nivea, which I'm not willing to use on the GTS, until I've sweated it in to some old quarter panels from my '82, as a trial.
Pic of the GTS during one of many treatments ....

Have no regrets. Leatherique Prestine Cleaner and their Rejuvinator Oil work very well. I've got 285,00 miles on my seats with no splits or significant wear anywhere using Leatherique every 6 months or so for the past 17 years.

Leatherique works very well, I've used in with excellent results on three different cars now.
Those recommending Nivea are forgetting that before applying such a product, the leather should be thoroughly cleaned first, which is one of the two bottles of the leatherique process which is why I like it.
I have two tins of the Nivea German, tested it on some new leather boots and appears to do nice work. I'll be testing it on some seats this winter.

Living in Colorado, this is the only stuff I have found that lasts.
https://www.amazon.com/Leather-Honey...er+honey&psc=1
Had a leather couch that received daily use and this stuff lasted for over a year. My understanding is that the Nivea cream seams to help loosen shrunken leather, but may not be a good product for long term use.

On my daily drivers, I have used Lexol, Leather Therapy (which I bought at an equestrian store) Griots, and Autoglym (one of my favourites).
For the 928, I used Griots Leather Cleaner followed by their leather restorer. By the time I finished treating both seats, the first one was bone dry. After going through a full bottle of Griots, I tried the Leatherique Rejuvenator along with another full bottle of Griots. It was only until I started on my THIRD bottle of Griots that a day later I would still see some product on most of the seat area that hadn't been absorbed overnight.
Whatever you use, be prepared to apply a LOT of product, along with a considerable amount of time and effort re-applying it. Just don't give up as eventually your results are bound to show.
