and to keep the cad plated parts (including vise grips) looking good, I followed your advice Bob.. "I had searched and found WD40 lightly coated on cad hardware will keep them looking bright. I've been doing that now for 4 years now on my 91 GT original engine hardware and they still look great." Pic of your WD40'd engine bay....
You might have something there Tass. Also, any extra custom hood props you can send my way...post 71 :https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...l#post14311397

That's funny, Tony...my parents (mid 80's) always follow me out of the house whenever I drive the car...just to watch the headlights pop out of the fenders.
Man, sure been thinking about you and your situation in Texas a lot.
Brian.

Thanks Brian, We got lucky....many have it much worse than we do. Two of the garage doors are damaged and will need to be replaced. Also, the overhang in front of the office is probably in Kansas by now. Below are the 2 buildings right next to us and Herm & Barb's mancave. Herm acutally drove the white 928 S4 and one of the 2 MB's over to the shop. Friend also brought his Z-06 over to the shop just before the storm hit and good thing, tree's fell all over his driveway and car probably would have been badly damaged. T

Power just restored back in Texas but still without clean drinking water, cable, Wi-Fi, etc., so hanging up in the NE a bit longer. Stretched Mokka's legs a bit on some beautiful rolling roads in central CT T

Looks like a great day out there! Probably would be better if people weren't texting you all day!
Mokka looks great, as usual! I hope you can take some nice photos out there on the east coast when the colors start to change.
