Simply marvelous!
Now, I'm bolting the hood closed on old red in PA.
Any tips on cleaning the aluminum fan, mine looks somewhat pitiful. Tried a couple different cleaners, simply green and such, but the fan has a black capital A inside a circle, located between two blades on the hub, that l'd like to remain. It seems like l'd take that off if I go any stronger. Or maybe that is what has to happen, then just reapply/paint another A after cleaning.
Anyhow, car looks great Tony.
Brian.

^^Thanks Ed....previous owners took great care of this car and deserve the majority of the credit. Drove out to Droo's today and he fixed a glitch in the A/C system. While I was there...well the VIN say's it all. T

You sir...are correct
I'll make it a point to be more humble in 2017 starting right now
yes..living vicariously through others is working for me
After heading back home from Droo's yesterday, experienced one of those oh sh_t moments. Approaching the crest of a bridge started moving over to the right lane to gain entry onto 9 North. Was traveling at approx. 65mph when the shifter snaps and was left in neutral. Coasted over to a (very thin) break down lane while looking ahead for a safer spot. Luckily had enough steam to roll onto a grassy just past the base of the bridge. No blame on the manufacturer of the short shifter. Do remember the welder was popping trying to find the correct setting while welding the alumium shaft. Luckily the original shifter was still in the garage and we are back on the road. Not the first time a set of vise grips has saved my... T
