I believe the glow dot was added in '88.

Lovely OB Tony!
Does it have the chocolate suede luggage cover? Mine are starting to get a little brittle. Would be great to see pics of yours.
Also, I'm in the 'love the stripe' camp. But, what is the story behind it? I haven't seen a Euro OB with this option from the dealer. And, the only other early-928 i've seen with a pinstripe is an '81 chiffon that was for sale last year at Mancuso in Chicago. Wondering if this option was 'Porsche Aesthetic Approved'.

A previous technician stripped out the set screw allen socket, it had to be cut off of the shift input rod on the trans. It's not that hard to do.. carefully slice it up with a cutting wheel, give it a little pry and the aluminum casting breaks easily.

More interior pics in OP along with "the story". Pin-stripes were dealer added at Hoffman Porche-Audi, Hartford, CT. Alex's Chiffon 84 has pin stripes and I believe Hoi wants to add them to all of his cars T

are the brake valves blue? Very cool detail shot

Would love to see more under the hood. CIS related. Truly a benchmark car. Thank you for sharing!

It pains me to see how beautiful your car is, Tony. You are a very lucky person and the perfect caretaker for the car. Drooling......
