Unfortunately my social secretary tells me we already have plans next weekend for Friday & Sunday - so no way to make this work - so strike out opportunity #2.

I guess I should just block off all the weekend in October next year to be proactive. I'm sure it will be fun for everyone who goes - I've always enjoyed it. I'll do an electrical tutorial next year.
