Default St. Louis Cars and Coffee

Is it just me or is a cars and coffee event like a anthropological experiment?
Almost a given that it breaks down into cliques.
We had four 928's there, which is almost unheard of in our area.

It seems to break down into American muscle, excluding Pony cars which have there own thing. Corvettes also park together, and usually come in and leave in mass.

You have the British car guys: also split into two distinct groups....Jaguars and everyone else (Triumphs, MG, AH).

Subaru dudes: all pretty young.

A very cool group of Z guys, etc.

One Lambo off by itself.

Of course the air coolers in khakis and embroidered belts... We got a polite nod from them but that was about it. The other Pcars were scattered around the parking lot, but a very nice guy in 951 parked next to us -- but made sure to let us know that he was only driving that because of the potential rain in the forcast and he didn't want the Ferrari to get wet...

The Sharks seem to generate a lot of interest at all times, which was great to see.

Lots of questions and observations, I certainly don't remember this much buzz about the 928, even 5 years ago.

It was interesting, I saw a guy return several times to look at my 86. I asked him what he liked about the car...he had just bought a 85, lol. Turns out he was afraid to turn it over because he couldn't vouch for the condition of the timing belt. I think I instilled enough confidence in him that he was going to dig into the TB/WP and fuel lines.
