As long as no one's drinking turn signal fluid, I'm good with it.

Back on topic: I have on occasion come across small amounts of leaked gas which I am quite convinced originated from 1978. If this would be an acceptable substitute, what type of container should I try to capture it with? If it will help, I will gladly package it carefully and send it your way - just pay for shipping.

I think that the part number for the air for the tires is the same from 78 through 86, but the quality of the air differs quite a bit. It depends largely on what the workers working nearest the air compressor had for dinner the night before with perhaps the leftovers brought to work for lunch at work. There were a lot of Yugoslavians working in the factory then and who know what kind of food they were accustom to eating. There may have been a big change in the workforce in 87 which might have brought about the change in the part number for the air; or maybe they isolated the air compressor about then.

Interesting...but...there is no picture of the product.

And for that price, a person would at least like to see a nice high resolution picture of the air. Call me old fashion, but I need to see the item I'm buying.

This looks to be the holy grail of Porsche compressed air, it's 911 361 511 AX, for 74-77, 911 only, and (I think) specifically for the RS.

I am surprised that you could use this vintage air , especially in California , given the higher co2 and ozone depleting chemicals in it .?
is this where the term " OLD FARTS " came from?
