Default Auto vacuum modulator - where to find one?

Hi all,

My poor old '85 928 s2 has hard shifting, fixed fluid level to no avail, and on testing the modulator wont hold vacuum at all. Rubber cap seems intact.

I am struggling finding a new one; I am fairly certain that Trucktec supplied them to Porsche from the early 90s with a part number of W0133-1620771. They have a UK branch in STonehouse glos but they dont respond to phone calls or emails and I think is a one man band.

Searching for other potential suppliers in Europe seems to come up with blanks all the usual part suppliers dont list them; a couple of american sites seem to supply them but either done ship, or will do so for $80 or more when the part only costs about £20.

You can get them on Amazon, but only the Canadian version, and they wont ship to the UK.

I am a bit stuck - can anyone point me to a supplier in the UK? Or is it as simple as going to MB and getting one that looks the same as it is basically a MB box?

Many thanks!
David.

I have them in stock for $58 and we ship to the UK and Europe every day.
For $38 you could have it on Wednesday if we ship it Monday.
Trucktec is aftermarket and only supplies the 86 to 95 modulator.
The 83 to 85 modulator is genuine Mercedes.

BTW I speak the Queens English as well 8>)

Hi David,
I do not use a web site so just email me your details at roger@928srus.com and I will take care of the rest. We can use PayPal for payment once I send you an order acknowledgement.
Best regards,
Roger
