That gives you all the room you need. No contortions necessary.

Pre-set the stop to about 1cm first. It's a good starting point.

Take the 13mm bolts off the plate first, then carefully unclip the rod. You want to be careful not to push it back down or I can see you have a problem getting the bolts back on.

But I'm serious this took me probably 15 minutes tops. Helps that I already had the lower shelf off and the seat back in my case.
Ha! You conveniently left out that little detail. I thought about the taking off the tray. Yes, that would have given you more room for sure. But, then it would have been another 15 mins. or more!

I had the stop out almost all the way and it was good. Just tighten up the lock nut with a ratcheting box wrench and done.

Whoops, I owe you guys an apology...
I forgot about the tray! I deleted that years ago to get more room, I got size 14 feet and they were hitting the tray from behind when I shifted.

It's all good!

I used this link as a guide from Ken's site.

It's these two 13 mm bolts. When I take these out, the clutch mc drops and the teo bushings too. I had major trouble kerping the mc in place to be sble to put in the 13 mm bolts

I test fitted my new clutch stop. I try to keep the clutch MC in place by replacing the bolts with pieces of 8 mm treaded ends so I can slide the clutch stop over it. I will replace these threaded ends one by one with the original bolts while the other side is tightened with a nut. Just to keep the MC in place. But I ran into a problem that I don't understand. The pedal is not hitting the stop. Or in other words: the stop is on the side of the pedal. What is wrong here?

It was discovered only recently that the PKlutch does not fit 78-80, unfortunately. The clutch pedal arm was changed in '81 for some reason.

If you can measure the offset, center to center, I may be able to make a special version.

I became very aware of clutch pedal travel when I was adjusting the Sparco seat in the '88 (no sliders). Although I liked the overall seating position (legs to pedals, arms to steering wheel) the clutch pedal travel to the floor made me take pause.
This sounds like a really good tweak to eliminate full leg extension of the clutch pedal. Also seems like it might help to provide slightly faster shifts. Anyone tried this in a track/DE car?
