Default Interesting OB on eBay

The VIN suggests it could be a very early production model.

Looks to be in relatively cleaan condition.

Regestration states that it's an '82; VIN is a '78...hmmm

It looks more like an '82 with all the "S" equip., can't tell from pics if the intake tubes are the larger "S", WUR canted to side suggests non "S"

Definatly one you want to check #s on verry carefully.

Think I would stay away from this one. The vin says it's a late 78 euro, yet the body is a US version of a later model. Note the position of the side lights (front of the front wheel and none in the rear), side molding and rear spoiler. The engine appears to be a true 78. On the 78's the euro and US intake tubes are the same size.

I want to go look at it.

I'm thinking it's a '78 Euro. Lot's of stuff can be changed, but the side marker is right and the rears have none. I don't like the VIN, the WUR position or the steering wheel.

That is a fun interior, though.

I can't tell, but is that front wheel in the big picture different from the normal porsche wheel? It looks like a spare or something. What do you guys think?

there is no way to sell a car in California and make the BUYER responsible for smog ....zip zero nada ....... I have a stack of blank duplicate title applications in my desk at home ....does not mean I can convey title only that I can TRY . The original title "lost" is probably still in the name of the owner before his friend who bought it to sell ........ So this could be a nightmare trying to get real paperwork to register it . Sold as where is with only the sellers WORD that it runs and he does not want Brendan to see it !!

It looks kinda cool, but it also has that "used car dealer" vibe.
It looks like the engine was steam cleaned, and sprayed with armorall.
I'd only consider buying if it had a PPI done.
It could be a mechanical mess.
But if it is in good mechanical condition, it is a pretty decent
price, for a pretty decent looking car. It may just need some
new seats and a new stereo. But I am guessing it is one of
those "polished turd" kind of situations...

Remember, as Bevis and Butthead said "No mattter how hard you try you can't polish a turd."
