Now for something completely different.

Never heard of it before. You can buy it - if you dare.

The only problem I see is a possible imbalance between the graphics and performance.

Skreeeee...Hummmmmmmm
Why would anyone turn a 928 into a Pre@ss?? One of the best part of a 928 is the exhaust note. A friend of mine in Phila. says he can hear me coming 3 blocks away. It's not that my car is loud. It's that nothing, not even detroit pig-iron V-8s sound like a 928. I'll bet this one sounds like a slot car..Skreeeee...Hmmmmm.. At least put in a sound system that plays the '928 roar' louder as you go faster... Here's is a VERY heretical thought: Pick up a non running 928 with a solid body. Build a set of fiberglass moulds of the body shell, and then make 'kit-car' bodies that people can mount on their "ricers" like the Lambo Contache bodies that go on a Fiero. FiberFab used to make a Ford GT-40 lookalike called the Aztek GT to go on a VW bug floor pan. They looked great till you twisted the key and it roared to life with that typical VW 'sewing-machine' engine sound. LOL. I actually know how to do this. I worked 3 years in the R&D shop of the Hunter Marine Division of Luhre's Yachts in the '70s, making prototypes and yacht show display models. I do have the expertise to make a set of master moulds and car bodies for the 928. But it would require more time and money than I'm willing to put forth.....ALSO that would 'dilute the breed' ;-)

all we need is a hybrid, in the true sense of the word.... 928 powered and two electric motors on the rear wheels with the computer controls and battery pack in the spare tire area. motor and gear box could take the place of the normal CV shafts and provide at least 100hp per side... how cool would that be?? maybe a push for pass configuration!!
