Anyone got vanes to spare ?
Parts Needed : No blood required but hoping someone might have some of those little plastic vanes to spare / sell, the ones that go in the 928 centre console and door vents. I need about six but any quantity would be gratefully received. Economy post to Ireland would do. Please PM me if you have any to spare together with a price.

If so...we have a couple options...I can mail the whole vent to you (which seems to have eight of the ten vents in good condition) or you pay for round trip flight for me and my wife...and I'll hand deliver.
Either one, you deside...lol.
But, seriously...just PM me your address.
I've repaired several of these vents/vanes on my 78, which are much more difficult to obtain. Took a 1/16 drill bit and drilled a hole in the location of missing round knub on the vane, about 3/16 deep, and then cut a piece of wire about 5/16 long, coathanger works great for this. Expoxy the wire in the hole and leave enough expoxy around the outer end to form a knub with a dremel or file once cured.

928Intl does have a good collection of the different vent louvers, though none of the early-mid '78 narrow louver vanes.
FWIW, there are multiple vane forms depending on whether you're talking center vent, door vent, or rear A/C console.
