Default Tech Session Ideas for Frenzy 20

The organizers for the 928 Frenzy are looking for tech session suggestions and volunteers for Frenzy 20 which will take place on Sept. 24.

If you are planning to attend Frenzy and have a particular topic that you think would be a helpful tech session for you and the other attendees, please suggest it. Also, if you would be willing to lead a tech session on a particular topic and would like to gauge the potential interest, please feel free to mention your idea.

We will not have access to a lift for this particular Frenzy. So, let's avoid topics that rely on access to the underside of the car.

Because SOME members of this board have criticized the lack of Dwayne style write up on how to make 928 christmas ornaments out of the Hot Wheels 928, I would be happy to hold a session on that topic.

Now who would be such a jerk?

I might pay attention to this Tech Session if Otto does it. I didn't at his last Tech Session.

Nice banter guys. But, actually, I was kind of hoping to get a few serious replies.

Now, who will be kind enough to mention an actual, useful tech idea?

Here is a list of the sessions from recent years:

Frenzy 16 - Exterior detailing demo (Darryl Nichols). Fan controller rebuild (Fraggle).

Frenzy 17 - Common Questions, Problems and Solutions (Veninger / Minucci).

Frenzy 18 - How to Supercharge your 928 (Hankins). R-134a AC Conversion (Bade).

Frenzy 19 - Interior Restoration and Maintenance (Budd). AC Pressure Check and Recharge (Otto)

Not the most exciting topic, but I'm happy to provide an update to PCA concours classing, etc. since my last presentation in 2013 if anyone is interested. Most folks were at the Oktoberfest anyway that year, so the audience was small.

Sunroof alignment/adjustment?
I have gone past posts. I am probably 80% there and just need a bit more.

I'd like to suggest Tech topic's that apply to all model years, Alignments (wheel/Body panels, etc.) are always a great topic as are other common issues like Interior Lighting fixes and tips.

Just thinking .. how about Rear Hatch and lock mechanism, I for one can never get these to work.

Fire recovery with hands on work. I can bring my block and a box of brass toothbrushes. unless I get done and reinstall it before Sept. which may or may not happen.

I like the window alignment one - or replacing the handle bits that frequently break, but it might be hard to have real visibility for everyone replacing parts inside the door.

I think the easiest thing for others to see is how to align the hood .
Ii will offer to lead this tech session.

Sadly not having access to a lift will keep me out of the garage
