In case anyone's looking for a used Ott cross-over:
eBay Auction
No affiliation with seller. I should mention that you can get a NEW one from Louis for $350 including shipping (not including a $25 discount for 928 Forum subscribers) so don't go nuts running the price up.

I just bid $280.00 on this. If you outbid me, I'm going to come to your house, spread rock salt in a pattern so that your grass will die in the form of profane words. Then I'm going to run an add in the paper that says that you hate your Porsche and want to sell it for $5. And then I'm going to capture your cat and shave all its hair off. Then I'm going to grease up a pig and let it loose in your office....

I hope it fits Normy, since it is off an S4, it might not. Might check with the seller to see if he Knows. Or check with Mr. Ott himself.

No Big Dave, you're right we are not affiliated ;-)
Go figure, I sell a good set of complete heads, probably conservatively worth around $3,000, with cams and valves and the whole deal .... they go for $755. But an Ott X goes for over 300 dollars, and a set of wheels - two of which are bent - go for $455.
Clearing out the garage for a replacement motor .... feels good. Next I am thinking about selling my 292hp/294tq engine which is now spare. Also have many '85 parts lying around, and a ton of S4/GT interior stuff like door panels, rear seats, trim and so-on.
I have a couple of beautiful rear interior quarters for GT; S4 and old buggar too, but shipping is heavy on those .... I also have a complete rear ac setup. I'll ebay all my extras in the weeks to come.

Do you have the lower rear hatch lock assembly from that '85? If so, is it in good shape and how much do you want for it?

Dave my parts are a mix-match of parts I have acquired over a few years, mostly from my desire to limit my own risk engine-wise; and also from my complete interior overhaul. I do have a spare of that part but it is not in nice shape, ie I replaced mine because the plastic was brittle. On the interior: I replaced an entire burgundy vinyl interior with black leather from many sources. I ended up with 2 extra dashes, both cracked -- wondering if I should toss them or if someone could use them -- maybe for a racecar, or as cores for a recover or overhaul?

I need to replace mine because the bottom portion cracked in half on one side. It's probably only a matter of time before the white plunger propels itself out of the assembly through the air and into a neighbor's yard. Perhaps I can use my plastic parts and your uncracked metal assembly?
