Glad you're on the mend. My advice to you is eat more Kale and drink Beet Juice. If that doesn't work, you can switch over to grass clippings and tree bark. And, finally, if that doesn't work, I'd start drinking heavily.

Hi Roger,

Take your time to recover properly.

We still need to meet at the Euro 928 2017!

So Roger, if you were a dog I would drive down and treat you, and then give you a biscuit afterwards.
In lieu of that, it's all about treating the hypertension. Once that's down you are good buddy.

On Monday I was told that I had diastolic heart failure coupled with uncontrolled high blood pressure. I was admitted to hospital on Wednesday morning when my BP exceeded 200 systolic.
Thanks to the hard work of the doctors, nurses, my family and your thoughts (plus lots of meds) my BP began to normalize (normalise). After X rays, CAT scans & MRI's we still do not know what is causing my problem but we know what isn't.
I am Home and trying to take it easy.
Thank you,
I know misery doesnt need company, but regardless..,,
I'm presently sitting in the Carroll county (Maryland) hospital after receiving several units transfused.
You know the last thing I did Sunday, hours before finally paying attention to those nagging little warnings, was firing up the 928 complete with the timing belt, wp, tensioner roller parts, hoses, belts, PS hoses you sent me.... And no leaks! Except for those I'm personally dealing with of course. Hopefully they'll trouble shoot yours while they're trouble
shooting mine.
Get well buddy!

Roger, since I'm a Doctor, I'll share the latest research with you:

For those of you who watch what you eat, here's the final word on nutrition and health. It's a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.

1. The Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans/English.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans/English.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans/English.

4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans/English...

5. The Germans drink a lot of beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans/English.

CONCLUSION:

Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

Thought it is McDonalds and/or the sudden stop from high speed driving that kills you.

I cannot thank you all enough for the kind and positive thoughts.

My visit to the cardiologist today was very satisfying. My weight is on the way down as is my blood pressure - my heart rate is steady and not too low - was at 43 in hospital.

I had to stop drinking - those of you who know me well will know this was a TOUGH one. But I am 110% committed and want to be around to talk 928's for another 20 years.

Thank you, thank you, thank you
