Default Minor SITM surgery...

So...enjoying myself at SITM. Got to meet Stan (mr merlin).
Pretty cool. Until he looks right at the Red Witch and says, "You have a problem."
Arrgggghhh!
I was missing the E-clip and washer from the top of the headlight linkage.

I was able to pop the E-clip and washer off the lower pivot. Off to Lowe's for a replacement. One 5/16" E-clip and one 5/16" washer later, and we are good.

Photos or it didn't happen:

Old vs. new.

Much better.

If this is the worst that happens, I'll take it.

If that's the only thing that Stan says you have a problem with, I think you are looking pretty good

Yep. That's what I'm thinking. We won't mention him rearranging my mangled cowl cover. I already know about that.

BONUS!!!

Stan adjusted the latching mechanism for the hatch. It now pops open and closes so smoothly.
I am so excited!

Thanks Stan!!!

This was a huge topic around 10 years ago when several radiators were taken out by the missing clip. People were looking for it like they do today with the jump post covers.

Yep, I was one - put a hole in my radiator, too. Repaired the hole with JB Weld (still good), and made sure it would not happen again!

BTW Seth, did you get the package from Adam?
