What are the differences between the Varajection and Varajection II.
Are your kits in good condition, any parts missing? Where would the ideal spot on the intake be, to place the misting nozel?

In general when someone refers to an after-cooler they are actually referring to an air-to-water intercooler. Vortech calls their air-to-water intercoolers "aftercoolers." An intercooler is generally an air-to-air intercooler/heat exchanger.

SFR,

It sounds like you are still having fun with that car. I have been tinkering with mine over the last month or so with good results.

As far as HP numbers, it will all depend on the setup and efficiency of the wheel. With that setup, I would think you are already over 300 off the crankshaft without too much difficulty.

If you charge cool, and the compressor is efficient enough, you might be able to run up to 10 lbs on the stock bottom end. It all depends on the setup. There are air to water coolers that will probably be easier to fit than an air to air charge cooler, but I'd have to see your setup to confirm for sure.

Unless internal mods have been made, the 80-82 928 compression ratio calculates out at 8:1, not at 8.5:1 as in the owner's manual and Porsche literature. I confirmed this number by measuring combustion chamber volume and it was just a tick over 8:1. I might be wrong, but I thought the 81 and 82 had the same CR? Someone else might be able to confirm.

As for this talk about restrictions and manifolds, well it is just that, talk. The stock 80-82 manifold and exhaust is no work of art, and I assume your car has no catalyst. I'd love to see that setup on your car, complete with the RayJay turbo. I can probably get you a compressor map for that RayJay, just get me the specs on it.
