Default Gasoline coming out of my side marker light?!

Ok, this one is wierd. There are streaks of gas that are flowing out of my side marker light. No gas out of the gas cap area. I suspected the gas cap. So I worked on putting a bigger oring in the filler neck. Still, gas out of the lamp. I'm really hoping this isn't an indication of a bad gas tank. Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?
Could it be a bad gas tank? Yuk.

The fun continues, eh Gregg.

Does the gas leakage occur only when the tank is full? If so, it could be due to a cracked/disconnected tank vent hose.

Sounds like you'll want to remove that rear wheel and the wheelwell cover to look up into there to get a better idea of the source.

Randy, I think so. In fact, I found gas on the floor when I filled the tank to the top once. I find it strange that in all of my years of being a mechanic, I've never asked about how to fix my problems. But this car is unique in a way I can't put my finger on. So I find myself asking about EVERYTHING. Thanks a bunch...

Gregg,
I do not understand what you mean with: Gasoline coming out of my side marker light?!
But ---------- There is a vent hose from the top of the tank to the Gasoline filling unit - Most properly this hose is leaking, that's a common problem!
Then you have to remove the tank and renew the hose - BTDT

It's the gas cap! Sheesh. That's a nobrainer. If I don't corner hard enough it spills out of the cap, but doesn't come out the gas filler door, it drains out of the side marker light area. So a couple of hairy u-turns had gas all over the side of the car. Yippee. This is nicer than pulling the tank. So the problem is easily solved at this point. I thought I was seeing less fuel spilling with the bigger o-rings I tried. I recommend people look under their fenders once in a while. I must have pulled out five pounds of dirt.
