Default Anybody know of a 1979 Euro "S"

Just curious if anyone here knows of the existence of a 1979 Euro "S".

Iv'e never heard or seen one, but in the technical specs booklet it lists 1979/1980 as the first year. This was pointed out to me by Jim Doerr and now is bugging me.

Must be a relatively rare bird. Anyone seen a documented m28/11 or M28/12 1979?

Alex must have "stumbled onto" a '79 euro S for sale, and he wants to check before jumping head first and buy it sight unseen.

Go for it!

Sorry nothing constructive to add.

This might be where I need to ask as well - I have a 79 Euro/ROW- Vin number 9289100748. Everything is in German and Kilos - I can't seem to find any info on it - when it was brought here and previous owners- any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well now, you may just have that unicorn that Alex was inquiring about. The vin is definitely for a 79 ROW. Post up some data and pictures, and we'll see if it's an S

Never personally have seen a 79 S, but I do have to point out that you have 91,572 unread emails and your trash bin is not emptied *shudders*

plus each state on "federalized" cars in the USA often just looked at the build date when they issued a new title....damn oddball forn cars..... they could care less about "model" years.
