Default 1994 Wide body GTS 928 is this real?

I have never seen this. Look at the front fenders, was this a factory option?

Japan car.

Yes Japanese market cars had front flares add on and rear wheel well flaps/flares add on.

The first angle from in front of the car to the right I thought it looked good, the the second angle zoomed in it makes it look very odd.

Interesting car though.

Why they brought it over from Japan is beyond me when they could have taken it to China for some serious coin

Do you actually know anything about importing used cars to China or are you just quessing? Try to register older than Euro IV emission standard car in there and see how easy it is.

Ah, Errka, I think you missed an earlier thread or two about the vast fortunes to be made selling 928's in China...

Thank you, Martin

Holy Cow.... please chill, Erkka

"Lets find 10 people that want to put this deal together to repair the car and sell it on ebay and split the profits. I'll do the work, and document 'photos/video' I think we can get $50,000 for this car 'IN CHINA' and or $25,000 in the USA. A 1979 did just sell for 33,000 on ebay. Silver with Pasha."

I was just having fun with Mr. Lambright who posted the above in this thread...

They are very flimsy/thin fibreglass. They don't feel like something Porsche would have put on these cars but they are on many of the Japanese 928s. Working on one of them that has this.

Does anyone know what years the front flares were used for Japan 928s? My '89 was originally delivered to Japan, and thankfully it does not have the flares.

A related question; do the North American GTS front fenders differ from S4 fenders? Are they a little wider? Sometimes when I look at a GTS it seems the door is flat, sandwiched between two curvaceous quarters.

Wait, that sounds like ****.
